What is wrapped

wrapped is a token wrapper, built on Uniswap v4. Point it at any token with a live WETH pool and it mints you your own new contract address (wX) that trades on the original's liquidity — through any bot or terminal — with a tax you set baked in on-chain, on canonical routed trades.

The point: you can put a fee on any token, even ones you didn't launch. Every wX is 1:1 backed by the original and redeemable any time.

How it works

1. Point it at a token. Any token with a live WETH pool — wrapped auto-detects its market on Uniswap v2, v3, or v4.

2. Get your CA. wrapped mints wX — your own contract address, 1:1 backed by the original held in a vault.

3. Earn on every trade. wX trades route straight into the original's liquidity, and your fee is collected on canonical hook trades.

Wrap a token

Turn any token with a live WETH pool into a wrapped-tradable token, permissionlessly — no cooperation from the original team needed, because trading a public pool needs no permission.

You get your own brand-new contract address (CA) — wX ("wrapped X") — that is yours to control and promote. Its Uniswap v4 pool is served entirely by a wrapped hook, so wX holds no liquidity of its own: every wX trade is routed straight into X's original pool (whether that's Uniswap v2, v3, or v4), so your CA rides X's real liquidity and depth from day one.

Choose your creator fee allocation

The configured 1–10% fee applies to trades through the canonical hook and to direct wrapping and redemption. Transfers and arbitrary external markets do not invoke this hook.

The protocol receives an immutable 30% of collected fees. Half of that ecosystem share funds platform-token buybacks and burns; the other half goes to the fixed treasury wallet. Choose how to split your remaining 70% between your payout wallet, buyback-and-burn, and top-holder snapshot claims. Splits are fixed at creation. Trade fees accrue in WETH; entry and redemption fees are converted from earned original tokens separately.

Periodic top-holder snapshot claims

Assign a percentage of creator fees to the top 100 eligible wrapper holders. A designated publisher snapshots current balances periodically, excludes infrastructure and burn addresses, and publishes a funded Merkle epoch. Default cadence is six hours, without time weighting.

Rewards are proportional to each eligible wallet’s snapshot balance. Holders claim WETH on the token page. Published epochs cannot be edited or reclaimed, and each allocation can be claimed once. The publisher is responsible for calculating the snapshot correctly.

Backed, redeemable, honest

Each circulating receipt has original-token backing. Redemption returns the original less the configured fee and remains enabled when a wrapper is disabled; fee conversion and buybacks cannot spend holder backing.

The wrapper is labeled “wrapped” and uses one canonical registry entry per original token. The first permitted registrant chooses the creator fee policy; this does not establish ownership of the original project. Creation probes current sellability. Underlying-token behavior still affects transfers.

How trading works

A canonical buy routes WETH into the original pool, locks the purchased originals and delivers backed wrapper receipts. A sale routes the corresponding originals back through that liquidity.

Direct deposits and redemptions also pay the configured fee. Earned fee assets are accounted separately from receipt backing, then allocated through the creator policy.

Under the hood

The v4 hook routes into Uniswap v2/v3/v4 original-token pools. Receipt supply changes only against backing or destruction of receipts. Buybacks spend a separate earned-fee budget, purchase originals, mint and burn the exactly backed receipt amount, then permanently retire that purchased backing.

Existing holders’ backing and committed snapshot rewards are not spendable by buybacks. Claims check the epoch proof, recipient, remaining budget and replay bitmap onchain.
